The development of the Arcitec Shaver began with a challenge from Phillips’ management of its engineers a razor blade to convince ultimately would provide the users of conventional electric shaver to turn. Although the close shave is not the one Gillette razor 100% (and perhaps no electric shaver to do so), the results will be as revolutionary for the stunning and an electric razor. It is one of the coolest electric razors I’ve seen. I could not wait to get this. I love Norelco products. I have a Norelco now. I bought this shaver and tried it for a few weeks and found it delivers a really harsh uncomfortable shave with lots of razor burn which I never from my other Norelco. I think, is to shave one reason for the hard, that it is not the floating heads more that give slightly to the contours of your face, this seems to curves instead of plow, and you do not get even, the range of pivoting, that the previous models have (I noticed this is not surround my Adams Apple like my 9160XL does it sits flat on it). There is a decent shave, but not a great shave, as I hoped, and you have to go over areas many times. I think who ever designed this razor just went as smooth and cool it might look like and the function came second. You might as well shave with a 8140XL SpeedXL and gain comfort and save $ 120. It just will not look as cool on your counter. I’ve sent back and bought a Braun 9595 and very happy with it. Rating: 5.2
For two decades I have been fighting an uphill battle, with a downhill-class products, and I’m throwing in the towel. I have to leave this razor and return to a real razor (away a basic Gillette Mach 3). I switched to a multi-headed shaver for over 20 years. “Stick with it for 30 days,” implored the instructions. Yes, I know better, but never reached my old two-blade razor. The comfort me suckered, and the habit has been set. I meticulously cleaned and maintained my razor, but never achieved a clean Rasur.Aber I stayed with him. Replaced the heads, and that was for a while, but then the same old same old. New electric shavers seem even worse. A little Phillips Philishave 30 worked pretty well (two heads, * * battery powered), but did not groß.Wenn this Arcitec on board, I said, “This Is It!” Expensive, but it can not be better, right? I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it. The only thing he does not like is that it does not shave his neck very well. What he likes best is that it quickly charges and comes in a travel case. Rating: 5.4
